Get to Know Your Contortion
& Handstand Coach

Victoria Kouzz has had a passion for Acrobatics since day one. She trained at a studio in Ottawa, Canada that specialized in Acrobatics, which is where she grew up learning all the different aspects of Acro: Contortion, Handstands, Tumbling, and Aerial Arts. While training and competing in Acro and other dance styles, she was always recognized for her unique talents and focus on technique.

 

Victoria now continues to value safe training and proper warm up techniques and wants to help her students pursue acrobatics and contortion for a long time. Victoria loves teaching people how to bend their bodies (safely!) and to balance on their hands! She is committed to provide safe online acrobatics, contortion and handstand training as:

  • supplemental training to improve different aspects of a specialty you train in (dance, pole, gymnastics, etc.)

  • full-time training to those that don’t have access to acrobatics, contortion and handstand training in different areas of the world

  • fun classes as a fun physical activity!

There is something

for everyone

and it is never too late

to start your journey! 

Victoria is constantly learning about the newest and safest training approaches. She is an Acrobatic Arts Module 3 Certified Teacher and has taught up to the Pre-Professional level. She is also Alixa Flexibility Module 5 Certified. She teaches Alixa Flexibility exercises and stretches in her contortion classes and she has seen amazing results from her students.

Victoria's coaching approach with contortion/flexibility is the slow way is the fast way. Back to basics is always a good thing. You can’t progress as far by skipping basics. 

You only get one body, so why rush into those advanced moves and get hurt?

 

When you start training with Victoria, it may feel slow and repetitive, but in a few months/years when you’ve understood the basics and are ready to move on to more advanced training, your body will feel better about it!

 

If you want to achieve contortion skills safely, you need to trust in the process and build good habits.
